Daimler Truck also invested in product development through the opening of a new product engineering and IT center, the Daimler Truck Innovation Center India (DTICI) in Bangalore. The center will focus on research, product engineering and IT capabilities, including vehicle engineering, powertrain engineering, software development for electronic control units, computer aided engineering (CAE), computer aided design (CAD) and IT programming.
